Evergreen Talbot Contract 2005-2008

SEIU Healthcare 775NW caregivers and Evergreen have approved our union contract, with raises, shift differentials and a labor-management committee to help solve facility issues.

Some of the highlights include:

Better Wages!
We won raises of $0.20/hour for support staff workers with two or less years of experience and raises of $0.30/hour for more experienced support staff employees. NACs and Restorative Aides wage rates increase to at least $11.00-$12.50/hour, depending on experience. LPN wage rates increase to at least $21.00-$22.00/hour, depending on experience. Shift Differentials
Workers that work weekend shifts will receive a $0.50/hour differential on top of their regular pay. LPNs that work evening and night shifts will receive a $2.00/hour differential on top of their regular pay.

Wage Reopener Negotiations and Paid Lobby Day Leave!
Workers can access a union leave bank of 200 paid hours per year to advocate for long term care in Olympia. Our contract then guarantees that every year we go back to the table to negotiate wage increases based on new Medicaid funding we win from the Legislature.

Labor-Management Committee
Union members and management representatives will be coming together regularly to discuss important issues in the facility and look for mutually beneficial ways to solve problems.
