No New Costs for Health, Dental, Prescription Drug & Vision!Health care plans through the SEIU Health Benefits Trust. Your premium cost is still $17 per month. No annual deductible and low copays. A better choice of dentists through Premera (instead of Standard dental) will start later this year.
Professional Training!Addus will also contribute to a new training partnership fund to improve training, build a career ladder and achieve professional certification. This year Addus will have our own on-the-job educational “in services”.
Increased Mileage!Starting July 1, 2007, mileage reimbursement goes up to 36 cents per mile. Starting July 1, 2008, mileage reimbursement will go up again to 40 cents.
Paid Time Off!Starting July 1, 2007, Addus workers will accrue 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked instead of the current 1 hour of vacation for every 50 hours worked.
Fair Way To Get More Client Hours & Qualify For Health Care!Addus will begin tracking caregiver requests for additional hours, matching client needs and caregiver qualifications on the schedule. Additional hours will go first to workers trying to qualify for health care or those with the most hours of experience.
